The “Construir 2030 — Jovem Investidor” call (ACORES2030-2026-16) supports companies less than two years old, majority-owned by young people aged 18 to 40, with head office or establishment in the Region, for investments from €15,000 (eligible up to €350,000) in industry, tourist accommodation, restaurants, tourist entertainment and services. The grant is non-repayable, with base rates of 45% to 55% depending on the island, 5% uplifts for incubated companies and 5% for fully young-owned capital, plus a completion bonus — up to a 70% cap. Support is non-repayable, based on standard unit costs (for example, vegetation control between €95.13 and €1,428.72 per hectare), with a €15M budget; works must start within 6 months and be completed within 24. Applications, already extended once, close on 15/09/2026 (5 p.m.) via the Balcão dos Fundos da Agricultura. The 2nd call of PEPAC intervention C.4.3.1 is open to producer organisations recognised under Ministerial Order no. 298/2019 (excluding the fruit and vegetables sector), to implement three- to five-year action plans. The annual grant is non-repayable, at a flat rate on the value of marketed production — 10% in year one, tapering to 6% in year five — capped at €100,000 per year, with a total budget of €900,000. Applications run until 25/09/2026 (5 p.m.) on the Balcão dos Fundos da Agricultura. Note: the PEPAC indicative plan confirms €177M in new calls in the second half of the year (farm investment, young farmers, agri-food industry) — we will track the openings. Ref.: Call AG PEPACC/02/C.4.3.1/2026, 25/06; Ministerial Order no. 213/2024/1, as amended by no. 13/2025/1 — deadline 25/09/2026.
Tourism SMEs in the Interior: fund buys the property, leases it back and finances works — up to €2M
The call under the Tourism Investment Fund for the Interior (Turismo de Portugal/FOMENTO) remains open until its €15M budget runs out: SMEs owning property in low-density territories sell the property to the fund and lease it back for up to 15 years, with a repurchase option from year 3, and the operation may also finance refurbishment works. Each operation can reach €2M (up to 85% of the property’s appraisal, plus 85% of improvements). It is not a non-repayable grant — it is a liquidity instrument, useful to free up capital without losing use of the property. Proposals are submitted via the form on FOMENTO’s website. Ref.: Tourism Investment Fund for the Interior call — Turismo de Portugal/FOMENTO SGOIC, open on a rolling basis until the budget is exhausted.
